Privacy notice
This is the whole thing, written the way we would explain it to a friend. It describes FoodieBaba specifically — not a generic website — because most standard privacy language would be describing things we do not do.
The short version
FoodieBaba has no accounts, no logins and no server that stores anything about you. Everything the site remembers is written to your own browser and stays there. We do not receive it, we cannot read it, and we have no way to link anything you do here to you as a person.
If you cleared your browser data right now, every trace of your time here would be gone, permanently, with nobody able to restore it — including us.
What is stored, and where
The site uses your browser’s local storage. That is a small box of text that belongs to your browser, on your device, which only pages served from this site can read. Nothing in it is sent over the network by us.
Here is the complete list of what we put in there:

None of these hold anything sensitive, and the “address” one holds whatever you typed into a delivery field for a delivery that will not happen. If you would rather it did not exist, do not type a real address — nothing about the simulation depends on it being genuine.
Payment information
There is none, and this is worth being exact about. The checkout screen shows a card form that is pre-filled with an obviously invalid number. It is a prop. It is not connected to a payment processor, a gateway, or anything else.
Whatever appears in that form stays in the browser tab you are looking at. It is not transmitted, not stored, not logged and not validated against any real system. When you close the tab, it is gone. We have never had access to card details from this site because there is no path by which they could reach us.
All the same: please do not type a real card number into it. There is no reason to, and we would rather say so than assume it is obvious.
Analytics and tracking
We do not run an analytics product on this site. There is no tracking pixel, no session recorder, no advertising network and no third-party script following you between pages. We do not build profiles, we do not do A/B tests on you, and we do not sell anything to anyone because we have nothing to sell.
The honest caveat: whoever hosts this site can see the ordinary technical records that any web server produces when a browser asks it for a page — things like the request, a rough time, and the IP address the request came from. That is how the web works rather than a decision we made, and we do not use those records to identify anyone or build anything.
The site loads a web font from a third party and nothing else. It makes no other outbound requests while you use it.
Cookies
We do not set cookies. Your theme choice, currency and language are kept in local storage alongside everything else, which is why there is no cookie banner on this site. There is nothing to consent to, so we do not ask.
Sharing a tray
The shared-tray feature encodes the whole order into the link itself, so that sending someone the link is what sends them the data. Nothing about a shared tray is stored on our end. If you post that link somewhere public, anyone who has it can see the tray it describes — which is a good reason not to type anything private into a party name.
Children
The site has nothing to buy and collects nothing, so there is no age-gated transaction anywhere in it. It is not designed or written specifically for children. We mention it only because a parent looking at a delivery app should know it charges nothing and asks for nothing.
Your control over all of it
Because the data is on your device, you already have complete control and do not need to ask us for anything:
- Clearing site data in your browser settings deletes everything above instantly.
- A private or incognito window keeps nothing once you close it.
- There is no export or deletion request to file with us, because we hold no copy to export or delete.
Changes to this notice
If the site ever gains something that changes any of the above, we will rewrite this page and move the date at the top. We are not going to quietly add tracking and leave this text sitting here — if the answer stops being “nothing leaves your browser”, this page will say so plainly.
